AI Time Capsule is a patent-pending architecture for simulating a person’s authentic character — not their archived data — and proving every response cryptographically.

Medium — one paragraph
For news intros

AI Time Capsule, founded in 2025 by independent inventors Rodion Sorokin and Serhii Nikolaichuk, holds a US Trademark and two pending US patents (Provisional 63/864,239 and Utility #19/319,614 with Track One expedited examination) for an architecture that lets a foundation model speak authentically as one specific person — without ever training a new model on that person’s data. Every response carries a cryptographic provenance log that detects deepfake misuse.

Long — three paragraphs
For features

AI Time Capsule is the patent-pending architecture for what its inventors call the “simulation of personality” — a paradigm shift from the static archaeology of memory toward dynamic dialogue with the wisdom and character of people we have lost or are about to lose. Where Replika, Character.ai, and HereAfter AI retrieve recorded answers from a database, AI Time Capsule extrapolates new authentic responses from a structured Personality Vector and the cognitive style of a foundation model, producing answers the person was never asked but would have given.

Each response carries a cryptographic Authenticity Seal — an Ed25519-signed manifest binding the answer to the capsule’s exact configuration and the moment of generation. Tamper with the response, the signature, or the underlying personality, and the seal breaks. This is the deepfake-defense moat the category will require under the EU AI Act Article 50, which takes effect August 2026 and mandates provenance for AI-generated personal content.

Independent inventors Rodion Sorokin (lead inventor and technical architect, first-named on the Utility application) and Serhii Nikolaichuk (visionary and strategic architect, founder of Austin-based deep-tech venture studio The Capital Index) hold seven USPTO filings between them across digital provenance, AI ethics governance, and personal sovereignty — of which AI Time Capsule is the most ambitious. Their public live demo, where any visitor can speak with a fictional 78-year-old American private-equity founder named William Carrington III, runs at aitimecapsule.io.

Pre-cleared founder quotes.

We do not train a chatbot of a specific person. We construct a structured Personality Vector — explicit, hashable, auditable — and configure a general foundation model with it at inference time. The model has never seen the creator's data. It borrows the cognitive style, not the words. That distinction is the patent.

The category will need cryptographic provenance whether the platforms are ready or not — the EU AI Act says so by August. We built it into the architecture from day one. The Authenticity Seal is not a feature. It is the only credible answer to the deepfake question that defines this entire category.
Serhii Nikolaichuk
Visionary & Strategic Architect
The hard problem in personality simulation is not the model. It's the intermediate representation. We named it the Personality Vector and made it a Pydantic schema instead of a black-box embedding. That choice is what makes the system auditable, what makes it patent-claimable as a data structure, and what will let us license it cleanly to a hyperscaler when the time comes.

A startup that will be acquired in five years builds a product. A startup that will define a category for the next twenty founds an academic discipline. We chose the second path. Eleven manuscripts, one new field — Computational Personality Science. By the time competitors notice, the discipline will already be ours.

Founder bios — short form

Two inventors. Seven USPTO filings.

Rodion Sorokin
Lead Inventor & Technical Architect

Rodion Sorokin is the first-named inventor on US Utility Patent Application #19/319,614 for the AI Time Capsule architecture. He is the lead author of eleven academic manuscripts proposing the new interdisciplinary field of Computational Personality Science. His work spans artificial intelligence, cryptography, and digital provenance — the three disciplines that together make the patented architecture possible.

Serhii Nikolaichuk
Visionary & Strategic Architect

Serhii Nikolaichuk is the founder and CEO of The Capital Index, an Austin-based deep-tech venture studio. He holds seven USPTO filings across Entropy Protocol, AI Ethical Blackbox, Symbiotic Assistant, SPYNO, MOIRE, Project Agora, and AI Time Capsule. His work focuses on the institutional and protocol primitives that should govern the next decade of AI infrastructure.
